Christo moves to Washington, D.C. from Athens, Greece to play soccer and attend college. While in school, he begins working in kitchens while studying electrical engineering at George Washington University, beginning his love affair with restaurants.
Christo moves to Arizona to study at Arizona State University. His interest in restaurants continues to grow while he works at the Orangerie at the Arizona Biltmore and at Victor’s.
Connie and Christo get married and begin working towards their dream of opening their own restaurant.
Christo’s Ristorante officially opens and begins serving its signature Northern Italian and Continental Cuisine.
Alexi’s Grill, Christo’s second restaurant, named after the family’s second oldest son, opens on Central Avenue.
The restaurant is remodeled for the first time since opening.
Christo’s celebrates it’s 25 year anniversary!
